We are a "young at heart" (if not body/mind) couple from the eastern U.S. who are fortunate enough to have some time to travel in our early retirement.  We are young enough to still get around fairly well, but old enough to know better!

Our goal is to see as much of the world as possible while we are still able to do it.  In the past we have traveled extensively through Europe with some trips to parts of Asia, but these have mostly  been short duration trips related to vacations or business travel with some vacaton time tacked on.  Now that we don't have to worry about business, vacation limits, or schedules,  our current priorities are focused on Southeast Asia and South America where we hope to do extended duration trips through those areas.

Our first adventure is to Southeast Asia where we will be visiting Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, and The Philippines.  This is planned to be a five month effort which will begin in mid December 2006 and end in mid May 2007.
